For their 2021 edition Global Local and London Remixed Festival have teamed up with virtual music and arts venue Lost Horizon to present a digital celebration of world remix culture with partners and musicians from across the globe.
Predominantly London Remixed Festival has previously showcased the booming UK scene, this year the focus of the festival is to exhibit a tiny portion of musicality from across the world. Highlighting the sounds of remixed world culture, London Remixed and Global Local are embracing the digital arena by joining hands with friends across the world for a distinctly unique moment. Our partners have curated amazing line ups, showing off the global strength of remix and musicality. We’re also organising the world's first VR Ceilidh, with wild music and virtual dancing.
Lost Horizon is the closest experience to being at a real life festival whilst still in your living room. Powered by Sansar, consisting of 2 stages within a virtual festival arena, London Remixed Festival can now be experienced via PC and in VR; or viewed across multiple camera angles via mobile app or on any browser. You’re able to customise your own avatar, navigate the environment & enjoy the show. We’ll also be streaming the show via our social media and youtube channels.
Tickets are available for free, however if you’re able to support Global Local and London Remixed Festival then a $10 ticket is also available.
